Puppies are now 15 days old......Wow, they are amazing to watch.
They have their eyes open and can see now and although the eat and sleep all the time, today, Sat. morning, they woke up ready to play! They were punching at their toys and each other and interested in the whole world around them. It was a bit of a corner turned. Did I mention that I think the little yellow ribbon boy may have a zipper down his nose!!!!! Love it!
So, with that, I spent the day moving furniture and putting down more soft flooring. Now, there have a pretty substantial play area with lots of fun stuff to explore. I also made my adventure box today, but I will need to make the holes in the top and bottom bars. Then the job of stringing the stuff. One thing I did not think about is that the puppies can't get a grip to walk on the children's matting on the floor. It is those puzzle pieces. So I have the bath mats and extra crate pads all over the floor in the puppy play area. Fun times ahead!!!
I also am working with them to finish up the ENS tomorrow and also I am exposing them to a new smell each day. Today was the flower of the Lily. They smelled it and smelled it and then I think they did not really like it. Some tried to lick it. new smell tomorrow.
