Lots to do, people to see and places to go.......

Today, my cousin Jon came over with his wife Jackie and 3 boys, Jonathan, Jerry and Jackson.  They had a big time loving on the puppies.  I told the boys that the golden puppy was a chic magnet, (as if they need one!)  The puppies crashed after they played with them and I have not heard a peep!
Can they come back tomorrow?

June 24

getting bigger and bigger........

The puppies are now 40 days old and big and confident!  They are so sweet and just having a blast everyday.

I took the puppies up to the office today to see everyone. They had a blast and got to test their recall!  They passed with flying colors.  Lots of new places and people to hold them.  They slept well in the car on the way home.  Happy Puppies.

June 22nd

The Puppies are really getting big now!!!

We have had lots of visitors this week and weekend and it has been so fun!  The puppies are handling it all in stride too!  They are eating now and really getting heavy.  They are solid as a Rock.

Here are their weights:  5 Weeks + 2 days

White Girl          7lbs, 3.3 oz
Crimson Boy     7lbs, 15.1oz.
Pink Girl            7lbs, 13 oz.
Yellow Boy       8lbs, 2.8oz. (chunky monkey)

I started single puppy training today.  I am going to see how far we can get in the next few weeks with some individual training.  I will most likely have some training goals that may change as we work.  I'm looking for them to learn to learn.  We are using a clicker and doing lots of fun games from the Puppy Peaks and Recallers with Susan Garrett.  Hooray!!!

We ate it all Mom!  I decided to not mush up the food so much and just give them a more thick texture, and this is what they gave me!!!!!  Canon you are free to dry up!!!!!

June 20th F I V E WEEKS OLD

Seriously, they are getting to be big puppies now!

We are getting serious with these things:  eating food, potty training, Sherpa & crate training, riding in the car training, sweet mouth training (otherwise known as don't bite your brother!), along with other big puppy things.

This week we will begin to have a short training session where I hope to introduce things like leg jumps, half noodle jumps, value building for bed, me, tugging, swapping toys, following me, walking by my leg, reward zone, come to me, sit.  I have 14 more days with them and hope to have some success with some of these things.  I will be videoing the sessions for sure.

June 19th

FUN ! FUN ! FUN!

That is all these puppies live for!  They love romping about and playing all over the house and yard.

Here are more pictures and videos.  We are continuing to have people visit and play with them and they are getting more used to that and handling it very well.  Eating is not great yet, but they are trying.  Still hot here so we are out in the early morning and then again late at night!  Enjoy these videos and pictures.

Wednesday - June 18th 32 Days Old

NEW PLAY AREA

I was able to get the play area outside secured so the puppies could play and the big dogs could not compromise the fence area.  I also got the second slide assembled and the rest of the new toys in place.  I also had to put up matting on the baby gate because the puppies found they could escape by pushing their heads through the bars and then twisting their bodies and out they came.  Pluck thought it was especially fun to run the fence line and get the puppies to chase her.  NOT what I want, so Pluck had to go inside for a while.  Cade is not sure what to do with them yet, but he is observing them from the yard!  Canon is glad they have a fun place to play!
