Tues May 27th Day 11

Puppies are 11 days old!!!!

We had a fabulous Memorial day weekend.  I stayed close to the puppies as they made their transition to being able to maintain their own body temperatures.  Who knew at day 9 they would be ready for less heat and more cool!  They were and I was trying to make sure they did not chill so I had all my heat sources available.  They were ready to be out of that and so they screamed and screamed which set me in a tizzy.  Thinking they were having tummy issues, I texted their Vet over the weekend.  She was out of town at a horse show, but told me to take them to the vet to get them looked at.  I did and they said Perfectly healthy puppies.  No problem, but time to let them snuggle if they are cold.  No more heat from the Grammy! 

Amazing, when we got home and I turned the air on a little bit, they did not scream at all!
